Sensual Topic (censored stuff!)

So this topic is all about the five senses and more.. Fooled u into reading this topic dint I! [Smirk!], but read on there is something very vaguely moving here. From kindergarten itself we have been taught that there are 5 basic senses. Sense of touch, smell, taste, hearing and sight Most of our experiences regarding these senses can be categorized as pleasant and unpleasant. Predictably enough unpleasant experiences are the ones we retain for longer. Think about it what pops into your mind, last time u burned your hand or last time u touched something soft.
For the most part most of these senses are very transitory (hang in there, as one wise reader suggested this does go OHT at times, what is OHT u ask, ask the wise reader) I mean lets say we see this awesome scenic place, we are wowed by it (ok I will stop generalizing) I am wowed by it but after some time it looses it wowness factor. Eat something delicious first spoon amaaaazing second spoonful amaaazing third one amaazing fourth one amazing (make note the a's are reducing with each spoonful, learned that trick from Hindi movies, subtleness is for suckers!..). So now u know food is amazing so what next. My point is these senses get fatigued very easily and after the initial thrill it looses the wow factor. Yet and I repeat yet! no matter how easily these good senses get fatigued u keep craving for them. For example I had these baked chips during lunch, not bad, ok kinda but still I kept craving for the real stuff even though my mind knows it’s just a transitory feeling followed by grueling hours of workout in the gym but u still keep craving for the good stuff.
That bring me to my next point, (don’t worry the sensual stuff is coming up really soon) there are so many other senses, for instance sense of craving (which emerges anytime you have diet stuff), sense of anticipation(after a good interview), sense of looming(after a bad interview), deja-vu(every time u end up in a deadlock), sense of belonging(every time India wins world cup), sense of squeamishness(every time u see that roach dancing around), sense of epiphany(every time u see any idol program and realize that’s your calling), sense of daydreaming/overconfidence(every time u see any idol program and realize that’s your calling) I can go on and on and on but here is the final bouncer, the mother of all senses, physical and metaphysical ones, Sense of Fulfillment. I believe Sense of Fulfillment is the driving force in life, for instance u keep eating until u feel you are completely full, this fullness has no bearing on how hungry u r it generally depends on the deliciousness of food. How one keeps running from masters of science to masters of business admin only to realize that, they need a sabbatical to explore the world, for fulfillment.
I would like to quote a short story here a man was walking by a field and saw a farmer resting under the tree. Now this guy goes the farmer and asks, Bhai why r u resting why don’t u work, so the farmer asked how will that help. So this guy goes on and says u will have an awesome harvest (Farmer: then what), u will have more money (Farmer: then what), u can buy more fields (Farmer: then what), you'll be a rich guy (Farmer: then what), Arre bhai u can sit aaram se and rest! so the farmer replied and wat else am I doing right now? So there you have it the driver of all senses: Sense of Fulfillment. So those are my sincerest sensual thoughts for the day (and yea this is the sensual part [smirk... smirk]
